Your first visit will last about 90 min. Once you’ve completing the patient intake, we will discuss present concerns, complete a medical history and examination, including traditional tongue and pulse exam, and come up with a course for treatment.
Your first visit will last about 90 min. After completing the intake, we will discuss the number of treatments and how often – which will depend on the condition(s) present and the progress seen after each session. Acute conditions usually take 5-10 treatments with a commitment of weekly sessions. For more chronic and severe issues, longer treatments are required.
Sensations that may be experienced during treatment are individually based. Depending on a patient’s sensitivity, sensations such as a feeling of heaviness, itching, burning, tingling, and electrical impulse may occur at the place of insertion. These sensations will typically last a few seconds and dissipate. If at any time you encounter discomfort, please notify me and I will make adjustments accordingly.
Out of consideration for other patients, our cancellation policy requires a minimum of 24 hours notice, with the exception of a medical or family emergency. Not providing 24-hour notice, not showing, or being more than 20 minutes late obligates Bodhi Tree to charge your account at the standard fee. Your compliance allows me to better serve you and other patients. Thank you for understanding.
Payment is due at the time of service. We can bill insurance companies if your insurance company covers Acupuncture. Know that not all insurance policies cover my services. We can work with Blue Cross Blue Shield Montana, AETNA, and Pacific Source.
Patients who are more than 20 minutes late will be charged the standard fee unless there is an emergency.
We do not offer refunds.
